Default ek: who shaved their moldings?

just wanting to know of people who have shaved their side moldings off, have they had any dents from cars opening their doors etc?

the car just looks alot cleaner with out the plastic bits around the car. anyone had any problems with them off?

i dont like the moldings on only because im taking the moldings off the rear and the front bumper, its a 96-98 ek4 if that helps.

just looks like a spot of hair left out

I personally like the indented mouldings over the shaved ones. They are still there but are alot cleaner. Removing that line from the car takes away from the lines and shape of the overall appearance.

Leave the moldings they don't make you faster so why bother. But it does look nice. But not worth the effort IMO.
