Default so i go to drive my car this morning and (pics inside)

i hear a sound like my header scraping the ground as i start to reverse. what do you know, it IS my header. this sucks.

i guess the motor mount bracket broke off over night. advice?

that sucks my friend broke his before and had it rewelded. man you should look into the oil leak you have going to. i thought mine was bad but not that bad. is that like a quart a week

Damn sorry homie that sucks..do you live where there is a lot of Snow? cause where you motor mount was it Looks Rusted as Fukk "y0"...and my only advice would be take it to a Fab. shop and they will hook up something nice for you! you have AAA right?

throw it away.. weight reduction...
Nah, just get it welded, make sure they do a good job when they do it though.

How many mounts were holding up your motor? Reason I ask is shouldn't you have a mount thats bolted to the side of the tranny?

damn yo, get a good strong weld and invest in some better motor mounts. hit me up, i know of a few places aorund that should be able to get a strong weld on it.

some crappy shop locally installed a b16a into a kids car and didnt tighten the mount. He went to back out of his driveway, header caught and he tugged on it, engine ripped complely out. heh

Dam thats crazy. I guess you could say your lucky that it broke off overnight, instead of when you were driving the car, especially if you were driving on the highway.
