Where can I find info on Delrin bushings?
what kind of info? i can offer this much right off the top. the delrin you want costs about $55/ft in the 1.5" OD size. the bushings you can replace with delrin without having any problems is pretty much limited to the front uca bushings. i haven't done a very thorough analysis of the front lca's, but i'm pretty sure they won't work well there, and i _know_ they don't work well on the rear suspension anywhere.

Nate, I'm thinking that the lca bushings can be done, but it'll just be a severe PITA.
And for all intents and purposes, you'll have to buy the delrin and machine your own bushing. That's what I'm doing.

bringing this back from the dead...
Anyone here have any experience using OPM's Delrin LCA bushings?
http://www.opmautosports.com/p....html
I've got quite a few bushings on their way out but am trying to decide between OEM, Mugen, or OPM for the LCA's. FWIW, this car (93 Civic Si in Street Mod) is currently street driven daily and autoX'd a couple times per month. Suspension setup is 500F/400R with 22mm bars front and rear.
Thanks,
Christian

Huh? I don't know where someone got the idea that his stuff cost $55 / foot but I bought mine for $12 per foot in the 2" diameter natural white (!) color. Bought 4 feet. Use it where the four LCAs attach to the chassis. If you're really resourceful, you can drill an eccentric hole to move the LCA laterally out and provide additional camber. You do the math to determine how far to offset the hole to achieve the required camber.
I'd recommend it. Virtually no fore/aft movement of the front LCA.
BTW, I'll sell 1 foot lengths for $25 including delivery via UPS if you need it.
Good Luck

Don't know if I understand the question. Its 'standard' delrin that has a homogenous consistency...never seen 'glass filled' before. Very easy to cut on a lathe or milling machine.

hmmm... that looks like an interesting option. I wonder how well it would hold up to daily driving? I'm thinking that as cool as Deltrin would be that it doesn't make much sense for my application... maybe Mugen is the way to go?
Mr. Noodles, thanks for the info on cutting/milling Delrin... unfortunately, I don't have access to a lathe so I'm a bit limited to "off the shelf" options right now
