I have the TEIN medium S-Tech spring on the TEIN NA damper. I have to say the quality is top notch. Since the S-Tech spring is mostly build for street use, so it come with a progressive spring rate, which give you a very comfortable ride under normal driving condition, but it will stiffen up when you push hard around the corner.

I used to have GC/Koni combo, and I have to say even I am not able to adjust the height anymore, I still feel the TEIN set up is much better. The ride quality is better, and if I set the TEIN damper to the stiffest setting, I feel that it is as stiff as the CG/Koni set up. Overall, the TEIN spring and shock combo give me the best of both world!! I would highly recommend it!!

Umm I test drove Integras with Kg/mm DR21Supersport, DR Racing and TEIN S-Tech springs before(all with OE struts). The result is...yes all 3 of them are quite comfortable for daily driving. But for cornering performance, DR Racing is the best, then DR21Supersport the 2nd and TEIN S-Tech the 3rd choice. Kg/mm springs holds sooooooo well around corners no matter what car it is. Coz I tried that on civic, Integra and Subaru impreza 2.5RS.

Umm, I sorta regret that I sold my Kg/mm springs and got TEIN NR after. I should have get a set of KYB AGX and keep the Kg/mm springs. TEIN NR are just too harsh for daily driving.

For further info u can email me at spoonek4@hotmail.com and visit http://www.kgm.co.jp

SpoonEK4,

How would you say they compare to the Spoon progressive springs? Were the Integras' you test drove Type-R's? Since Type R Showa struts are much better than the non-Type R garbage.

Spoon springs (EK = 6.3 frt, 5.4 rr)
DR21 Supersport (EK = 6.6 frt, 4.8 rr)
DR Racing (EK = 8.4 frt, 6.6 rr)

That weird, the TEIN NA I have on my DelSol is just as comfortable as my stock spring and strut when I have it on the softest setting!! May be it is due to the NR is not damping adjustable, and I have no idea what the setting on the NR is. But if you are using stock strut or any aftermarket adjustable strut with the TEIN S'Tech, the ride shouldn't be harsh at all!! As you can see from the TEIN S'Tech spring rate is actually lower than stock spring initially.

I really love to try the SPOON springs man. Met MidNiteMan but didn't have a chance to try his car. He got SPOON springs. Yup both are TypeR with Kgmm DR Racing and S-Tech.
