Default Dynoplot for the New T1R exhaust

Hi guys,

Just got the my car dyno today.

Base line settings
-Mugen intake
-T1R header
-Stock exhaust and cat

VS

-Mugen intake
-T1R header
-T1R Sport exhaust with test pipe

I was surprised with the gains I was expecting about 7-8whp and finally come up with a good 12whp at peak and the low end and mid-range has signicantly improved.

Enjoy

Thanks
Ben

wow, the afr change is quite large.

I think the reason u saw that much gain is because its running that much leaner.

The A/F ratio is near perfect for NA F20Cs.

Does this mean AJ finally got the T1R shipment - and have everything in stock now, including my system?

A "yes" would be the best xmas present I could ever have!

There's just one problem. The *** end of your S2 looks a little lonely but hey for the gains it puts down what the hell.

that's a bold statement to make, it varies with different setups and conditions

Just curious, how noisy is this exhaust? Any comparisons?

Man, that looks like an expensive why to lean out your a/f. I would love to know what you would see if you richened it up again.

Does anybody know the results of a simple vafc tuning on a stock S2k?

Edit: Whoa, forget all that I said. I did some searching and found that those are pretty good gains! Rock on.

Okay I found the answer on S2ki.com

FYI -

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by AJ PWR &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">From 1000-3000rpm, the Mugen seems to have better acceleration, however starting at 4000rpm with the T1R exhaust the car pulls a lot stronger. VTEC pull from 6000-9000 , it's a night and day difference !!! I thought my car is one of the weakest built F20C, but now I feel that my car has much more power, so it doesn't seem like it anymore.

Soundwise, the T1R is much louder than the Mugen but quieter then Spoon , J's or Buddyclub. With the silencer, it sounded so much quiet like Mugen.

Here's some pics for it.

The T1R system weight only 29 lbs including b-pipe , test pipe and muffler. Very decent IMO.</TD></TR></TABLE>

how much does this exhaust run for? how many lbs is the mugen one? does it only come with one? or can you have a dual? and if its dual will you lose power compared to the single?
