I was about to buy the Skunk2 Drag Launch springs but they ended up to be on back order. I'll be ordering them again. My crx squats like there's no tomorrow.

That's odd, I've never had any trouble with them. I know that as of yesterday they had a set of the drag launch coilovers in stock.

Hello, I was just made aware of this post and wanted see what was going on. If you called us with a problem or simply to check product status, that information should have been given to you on the first call. I apologize if it took more than one call to determine the order status as there is no reason this should happen.

In terms of backorder, that is a little messier...We try to verify product availability to the best of our ability. In regards to 99% of the items we sell, we have them on the shelf and can let you know availability immediately. We do occasionally run into problems when manufacturers give us incorrect or misleading information. If we not told an item is in stock and later it is determined to be on backorder, it is incredibly difficult for us to know. That, unfortunately, is beyond our control.

Please call me directly at 1-800-478-0952 if I can help you with this or any other of your needs. Thanks,
Tom

I ordered the Skunk 2 Drag Launch springs and I kept checking the status. No one ever emailed me back so I had to call and someone verbally comfirmed that the product was on back order. I think it was on back order for about 2-3 weeks. This was about a few months ago. I finally decided to cancel it because I no longer needed to order them. I just got upset because I waited and waited and no one bothered to email me and tell me what was going on. I even gave my credit card information.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not trying to give you bad business but I was just stating my own personal view. If I need to order the springs again I'm sure I would order from you again. I'm just letting you know that I never recieved a email stating the item on was backorder and perhaps you may want to start emailing people if items are on back order.

Thanks.

I think I remember the time frame as Skunk2 was out of those springs for months...I totally understand your frustration...We do our best to let customers know if an item is out of stock, or is going to be out of stock for any lengthy period of time, at the time of the sale. As far as keeping you up to date after the sale, that is a little trickier issue. On any given day there will be 20-50 orders that are waiting on various parts from different manufacturers to get them out the door. The logistics of trying to check each day with each manufacturer and then e-mail everyone on a daily basis on the status of their open order is virtually impossible for us. I wish we could come up with an elegant solution to this problem. If you have any suggestions, I would be more than happy to listen as this is a problem area for us and many other vendors.

Once again I would like to thank you for your patronage and apologize for any inconvenience. Thanks for your feedback. Please feel free to contact me personally on this board if you need assistance or have any questions.
