HOW DO RESET THE SRS LIGHT FOR AN RSX?
JUST BOUGHT A CAR AND THE SRS LIGHT IS ON.
JUST WONDERING IF ANYBODY HAS A OBD2 DIAGNOSTIC TO HELP ME RESET IT.
I TRIED UNPLUGGING THE BATTERY AND DRAINING IT BUT THAT DIDN'T REALLY HELP. DOES ANYBODY HAVE A CLUE?

Yeah I would like to know also, I took out my passenger seat once to race and the SRS light never went out, I've been too busy to check the connections under the seat though
an OBDII scan tool won't do it. the fancy high-tech tool you need is a paperclip made into a small U-shaped jumper.
1) turn ignition off.
2) remove access panel under steering column and look at the fusebox. there is a yellow 2-pin connector, unplug it from the fusebox. plug your paperclip jumper into the connector.
3) turn ignition on to position II.
4) SRS light will come on for 6 seconds then it will turn off. within 4 seconds of it going off, pull the jumper out.
5) SRS light will come on again, reconnect jumper within 4 seconds.
6) SRS light will turn off again, remove jumper within 4 seconds.
7) SRS light should blink 2 times to indicate it has been cleared.
8) turn ignition off, wait 10 seconds, turn ignition on to II, SRS light should operate normally (turns on for 6 seconds then goes off).
It's a little tricky, timing is the key, it might help to have a friend watch the SRS light for you. If you don't get the double-blink in step #7, you need to start over.

They will charge you if you told them you played with any SRS wires.
Just make sure everything is connected and tell them it came on, they will do it for free(safety issue).
If you dont want to do all that, just do it yourself, its easy.
1st step in erasing the memory is to turn the ignition off and connect the SCS Service connector to the MES Plug,
2nd Turn Ignition on. SRS indicator light will come on for about 6 seconds then go off.
3rd Disconnect SCS service connector for MES connector within 4 seconds after SRS indicator light goes off. SRS indicator light will come on again.
4th Reconnect SCS service connector the MES connector within 4 seconds after SRS light comes on. SRS indicator light will go off.
5th Disconnect SCS service connector from MES connector within 4 seconds. SRS indicator light will indicate that memory is erased by blinking 2 times.
6th Turn ignition off, and wait 10 seconds. Start vehicle like normal and light should come on and go out like normal. You have reset your SRS light, congrats.
If it does not work the first time try it again, the timing has to be perfect.

Now, you could have a problem.
Try reseting it with the instructions I put up above, if that doesnt work, just take it back to the dealer.
