Start Car.. Maint. Req. Flashed 10 times... ?? help

Start Car.. Maint. Req. Flashed 10 times... ?? help
When I start my car, the Maintenance Required light flashes 10 times. I have been playing with the ignition timing a little... Does anyone know what the 10 flashes means? Or is it just my timing? Thanks!

Means that you are almost due for a scheduled maintenance(sp?)
Soon it will stay lit.....after you do the service they will turn it off...if you will do the service there is a button under the dash....
