Cold-Air intake vs. Short Ram intake for EP3
I'm still in the process of adding an intake and can't decide. Cold air is more efficient and more power, but costly. Short ram is easier to install and cheaper but less horse power. Also, do you buy by pass valve if I decide to go with cold air?

Even with the AEM CAI, you'd have to go
in some pretty deep water to be in trouble.
It sits in the fender well, in front of the drivers
side front tire - figure you're tire would have to
be at least 3/4 submerged. So you may not
need to be *that* worried about it, unless it
floods near you or something.
AEM also makes the V2 intake, which is more
of a short ram, but kind of sits in an area that
would seem to get a good amount of "cold" air
when driving. Supposed to have good results,
according to AEM, but is a tad pricey.
