D16 with LS rods.....need actual answers
This is not too complicated of a thing but I hear so many different answers to.....
Does the block have to be notched?????
Also who has done this and where do you get bushings for the rods to mate to the piston's wrist pin?

no notching the block. big end needs to be machined down. small end needs a bushing installed for floating wrist. that means after market pistons.
if you need numbers let me know.

hrm, thin the LS rod on the big end by .043", use a "stock" piston, and slap it all together for a 12.5:1 NA monster.
If you search, you might even find a "NPG/GX" rod/piston that needs no mods to fit.
NEVER EVER a bushing.

yes but you need to have internals rebalanced afterwards. WHich I am certain is obvious to everyone regardless of what rods end up in it.
