They came on 1997 Gs-R's as well ....

 

Some Info on the OEM ITR Gunmetal wheels.

The rim with the blown RE010 seems to have some chips , no curbing....just surface chips.

I have plenty of pics if needed upon request.

Really .....My best friend has a 1997 Gs-R ....with those exact wheels, in the original Silver of course ....bought it like that from the dealer ....

The wheel for sale is a 96 model gsr rim. The 97 gsr wheel was a mesh wheel (refer to Trey's picture) which then switched to (popular honda-tech-stunner term) the 'blades' in 98+.

 

I would tell your best freind to check his VIN and make sure it really is a 1997.

Also if he bought it used it isn't difficult to imagine the wheels being put on by a previous owner.

Well with 13k miles on it, i didnt really think the wheels would have been swapped, but i'm sure its possible. It was actually the Gs-R i was going to buy. Before he underneath me and bought it 3 days later .....

I thought blades were 99+? My 98 GSRs that are on my car right now are webs. They came off my friends 98 GSR.

 

Mesh? Like the ones above? 98's strated the Blade wheel. The wheel and the Bumper update happened at the same time.
