Yeah this post is about my car.

It was Integra Type R #01-0817.

The Integra below was the car that was just stolen today.

The Civic below was the car the Integra replaced, stolen in February '03.

Cali is about as bad as the east coast. Too many thieves that know what they are doing. These aren't the same kids that will jack up the car and take wheels. These people are professionals and make a living off of this ****. It's really sad to see it happen. We are a dying breed.

Hey jefs0ng, ur live in Irvine too? I'm thinking of getting a 2001 ITR and I wanna know if you had any theft problems seeing that you live in the same area as I live in. I'm right by UCI campus.

first of all, that last reply should've been a PM

anyway this car was stolen 5 minutes after i parked it. i went in for a job interview in Pleasanton, CA and the janitor told me she saw it leaving the parking lot 3-4 minutes later. it was parked in a legal spot, and i left straight from my house from a garage. it was a commercial/business parking lot, nowhere near anything ghetto. it's the second car i've gotten stolen this year. i'm so sick of this, because i don't see any payoff. it's just pretty disappointing, discouraging and just shows me how shady the world is.

sorry to hear about your loss, the bay area is a tough place for Type R's. They are either stolen or vandalized. The high theft rate really takes the fun out of owning an R. Sometimes I envy the Mustangs, Camaros, and BMWs owners because they dont have to jump out of bed to check on their cars everytime there is some noise. They dont have to worry about theft each time they take their car out. My hair is actually going grey ever since I bought my R because of the high levels of stress involved. I really wish that the US would legalize that one alarm system from Europe that rigs the car with flamethrowers and shoots it when someone is trying to break in. I would pay anything to see a dead or badly burnt theif lying next to my car, I'd kick them and poor battery acid on their wounds.

I agree. If I caught someone trying to jack my R, I'd knock them out and amputate their arms so that they'd never steal again.

Thats really harsh! I hope to catch a theif with lojack as they are trying to strip my car, thats when the real fun begins. Next thing you know K series cars are going to start disappearing, now I'm worried about my itr and crv.

I hope juice finds something to replace his R, I dont think I'd want mind anymore if it got stolen...its a violated feeling.
