Default S2000 Antenna Kit now ready!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was calling different shops and I found one that has the S2000 Antenna Kit for 94-01 Integras! It only cost about $10 plus shipping. The kit included everything except for the antenna. This can be purchased at the Honda dealer $25-27
The complete upgrade took about 30 minutes to install and the kit came with excellent directions with lots of clear illustrations. Here is the e-mail for the salesman I dealed with. MICHAEL@ichibanmotors.com

Finally!

What tools do you need? Does the tool come with the package?

How's the reception...I heard it's a little weaker than stock.
And what happens to that motor thingy that enables the antenna to go up and down? :T

The reception is as good as the stock antenna. The only tool you will need is a screw driver and a socket wrench.

Thats it! It was really easy. Remember it comes with complete directions with picture.

What does the S2000 antenna kit look like??? Is it just a replacement of the stock antenna with a S2000 antenna???

cool, I am sick of my stupid antenna raising and lowering even when I listen to cd's almost exclusively.... what a pain and a waste too.... plus the oem teg antenna is UGLY... that S2000 unit is smooth, clean, minimal and functional.
do you lose a few pounds by removing the motor and such for the stock antenna?

I just connected a switch to the motor of my antenna, so when I'm listening to CD's the antenna is down. But when I want to listen to the radio just press a button and the antenna goes up. Only cost me about $4 to buy the parts at home depot.

I have a RS, it doesn't even have a motorized antenna!!! I only put it up when Im traveling. In town, I can't tell the difference in reception between when it's up and down, so I just leave it down. I think it would look best without a antenna at all, if I ever get the money to get my car repainted Im going to shave that hole along with the little windsheld wash squirter on the roof. I think clean looks the best on Integras.

On my 98 gsr sedan, there is no antenna, I believe is is put into the back windshield somehow. That looks the cleanest in my opinion. Maybe there is a way to convert to this type of antenna? Or am I just way off, but I thought that's what the deal was with my antenna.

You can get the window antenna kits at Radio shack. My Friend has one on his Saturn and will get one for his Trans Am soon. His Saturn on kinda sucks but I think that its messed up. Then again since he hardy ever listens to the radio just CD's he doesn't really care. I would like to put a Fuba in place of the sauce squirter on top the of the car.

This place sells Fuba's and they have a section on how to install it so you can see if this is something you want to do, I wnat to do it but don't have the funds at this time.
