as of this moment, the project is a secret. as you will see in probably the next 2 days it will be appearent what im doing.

I would say a cage, or maybe a custom dash.... Or perhaps even both

well judging by the pics
u are going to weld in a cage, u going to gut and only keep half of the car since u still have the dash in one piece and organized and the car will become a race car

what mounts are those? that engine looks slanted pretty radically towards the front of the engine bay..

 

i hope you dont plan on making the outside look good ever again. that rattle bomb job you did, could make future aperance very expensive. interior kinda looks like mine rite now.

Man...I have no idea what you are trying to achieve...You yank the interior out...then the wiring harness just to pull the motor out??? hmmm...I have no idea guys...

 

He's stripping the car to fix up another one

 

i guess, i dont know but ehh, cant figure it out either! just lo0ks like a beater thats going to be fixed up a bit more

 

it looks to me as if someone has found a wrecked type r or gsr. and they have decided to do a full swap. including odb1 or odb2, and quiet possibly a hydrolic clutch set up. love the color.

 

good luck on that swap, let me know how the performance is and what the difference feels like.

that nasty **** on the firewall behind all the dash **** SUCKS its dirty, smelly and does nothing but kill sound! END RANT by the way all u guys taking the tar out of your cars, did u know the SI had tar all the way up the firewall behind this nasty foam ****?

 

my guess would be a full RHD conversion, that is, IF this guy is EXTREMELY dedicated to finishing what he starts... it's not a fun job...

 

Sounds like he's stipping it down the chassis for a real paint job. Taking the motor out and all.
