ohhhh crap....! Dan, did you check all the ignition stuff and what not? How about a compression test?

 

Now tell me there isn't something wrong with my car. took it to the deal and they checked everything out. Plugged the car to a PGM tester and they showed me the car readings at idle and we compared it to the helms booka nd all okay. Fuel pressure at 52 psi at idle. what is wrong with my car?

 

checked fuel pressure, Checked the plugs and there was some crap all over them because of a fuel additive, so I got new ones from the dealer, Damn $68 bucks. I used STP Fuel injection cleaner. DONT USE THAT STUFF. The TECH even went for a ride with me, but he can't tell what is wrong with the car. he's cool with me but I need him to sit a an R that is stock and it running right. I'm going to go to Atomic this week and dyno it again. Dr. Charles is thinking of disconnecting the exhaust see if that helps and check the cat. Props out to Dr. Charles for taking the time to help me.

man this is some weird stuff. Hope you get it fixed soon.

 

Bring your car to another dyno Its rare but there have been reports of dynos that are out of calibration -> bad readings. But good luck to you man. Keep us updated.

 

I was thinking about that but I really don't think its the dyno. Vtec kicks in, but seems like it takes forever to hit redline. I will keep you guys posted. Thanks.

have you tried a compression test? or checked the pistons?

 

I'll disconnecting the exhaust and echking the cat first. Then I'll have to spend some bucks and check the pistons.
