A friend of mine said I could use a Prelude arm rest from 88-91 anyone know if this works or any other one with minor mods??? don't want to pay an arm and a leg for a JDM EF one. Thanks Rob

 

You can use a 94+ Integra armrest by swapping out your stock center console with the Integra's. It a great fit with minimal work. Also, a friend of mine used an armrest from a '88-89 teg also. It fit with his stock Civic center console. His sat a little higher than the newer gen tegs but it still worked. Unsure about the Prelude one though.

Theres been tons of threads about this that can probably help you out a lot. Search the archives, theyre in there somewhere.

Edit: My info is for a sedan or HB. CRX might not be the same since the dash's are different.

Well my JDM armrest came in and to let everybody know it fits perfect and i love it. What a difference it is to have an armrest sooooo much more comfortable i didnt have to mod it or anything to fit, i only had to put 2 screws in the side of it that would allow it to stay on.

Yeah which armrest did you get? The one that is in the wifes CRX looks very similar to the Integra but it extends out to the center console with no mods, very much stock but I have never seen anyone else with this armrest. It has an ashtray in the back, it's held down by 2 screws (which I had to mak a bracket for it to screw down. It's actually higher than an Integra armrest, and it doesn't look like the typical JDM armrest that you see for the ED/EF's (like it just goes over the e-brake cover). I'd post pics but trying to figure out who'll host pics (never done this before).

 

I have the 94+ teg console in my 89' H/B and its the best interoir mod period !!! Best of all.... I payed $25 for it at a U-pull-it !!!

i have a 93 teg special ed , console in my ef,

 

nice, it just makes me want to get a armrest for my car now. Does anybody have better shots of their armrest? Thanks

 

i had to redrill the holes to fit the consol in. the sides dont match up but you dont really notice that.

 

it is a center console taken out of a 93 Honda Civic 4dr in japan. i'd post a couple pics of it but i'm not real sure how to.

It fits a Civic hatch but I have never seen a Sedan with it.....

You have to become a member at a host site first, there are a few good ones that are free, such as http://www.imagestation.com , http://www.we-todd-did-racing.com , heh, thats all i can remember right now....
Join one of those, upload your pics to that site... its pretty basic. Then right click on your picture once its uploaded and click on properties. Copy and paste the link to h-t, using the image tag. Put the link right between the two tags... and WALA! Make sure it ends in just '.jpg' sometimes if you are viewing a thumbnail it says '.jpg.thumbnail.jpg' Take out the unnecessary stuff.
