CRX distributor into D16Z6 motor

Default CRX distributor into D16Z6 motor

I am trying to install my CRX ECU and my CRX Distributor into my CRX which has a D16Z6 engine dropped into it... i am having trouble aligning the bolts on the distributor to go onto the D16... i know that ppl do this all the time, and i was wondeirng if anyone could tell me what i am doing wrong

Use a hack saw and cut a part of the dis off that is closest to the bolt on the head, this way you can hold it by two bolts.

i cant even get 2 bolts to go on there tho... my idea was to hold it on there by 2 bolts... but i dont even see that,

curious....why would i have to cut it?

cool that was sumthing i tried... i wasnt sure if i wanted to leave it like that... thanx marked001

u dont happen to have a picture from the top, do u? so i can get a general idea of how the dizzy is supposed to b aligned for the timing to be good enough for it to start
