Heres the front: Looks like a normal EG to me... or is it?



Heres a shot of the back. Nothing but an exhaust here. so far looks like a eg hatch with an exhaust. big deal right?



Heres the side. Nothing but tint and some 15" rims. whats the big deal about this hatch?



Now heres the engine bay shot. Oh ****...is that a boost b18b?? yay



But i didnt see a FMIC?? Thats right. cause its painted black!! Only thing you can see are the small zip ties holding it onto the bumper support untill i get my brackets made and the cuplings holding the charge pipe on.




So what do you guys think?

My turbo EG project is about to get started next week, might have 2 come to FL and run you down.

 

i thought you got out of the game man? i remember your old EG. i loved that car. then you said you sold it for a truck.

 

That's a real sleeper. I wouldn't expect it to be quick on the street, but that's the beauty of it.

Why not remove the rest of the A/C stuff?
Condenser, lines, etc...
I didnt see a compressor on the car.

 

the car does have a/c. the compressor is there. but because of the compressor i had to do a 2" DP right off the turbo but it flares into a 2.5" pipe. i need to get a lovefab manifold or a a/c friendly full-race. florida is was too hot to loose a/c

*****. I'm in Arizona and i don't have A/C... when you get 116 degree summers then you can step up ha, just playin man, nice ride.

its not the heat that gets you here. its the humidity + heat combined. u'd think driving with windows down would cool you off. ha.

My brothers GF's (who is from AZ) family came out to NY last summer for her graduation, they were here 2 weeks and couldn't handle the weather, the 90 deg +99% humidity is ALOT different that 115 deg dry heat...


BTW: nice hatch...i wished i still lived in So. Fla...winter is owning me...

 

humidity out here sucks . but i love those nice 4 days of cold weather we have every year lol.

yeah the kid i bought the intercooler from did a great job witht he paint. as far as fast... its still running hella rich so it bogs out when i gun it. its going to go on a dyno soon to get tuned. we'll see what happens
