I'll always favor a cold air intake over a short ram (even if it is ridiculously fat). The stock intake is basically a cold air whenever you change to short ram you're taking in hot engine compartment air. Why? But in the end intake shouldn't be such a huge decision IMO the gains are pretty low most cases anyway.

I can't stop laughing at that thing!
That looks ridiculous!!
Go with AEM so you can open your hood without people laughing. It might work well though because it looks like it goes from 10" down to 3"

LOL nice blaster coil that is 100% for looks. what an idiot. junk slow car.
Get a cold air intake, those actually work well on hondas. That thing is going to kill low speed intake velocity, and it sucks in hot air. In genral it just sucks, its big and ugly, and doesnt make power=why do it? If you say for bling, you=rice.
Make power or go home. Thats my philosophy

My thinking is that fat one is a gimmick. My thought process tells me you can only force as much air as will go into the size of the TB. So having a fatter pipe in front isn't going to mean you are going to get more air because it's still going to have to be sucked through the smaller TB. If my thought process is wrong on this let me know.

Having the pipe larger at the filter than at the TB will help performance. Reason being the air is going to be compressed slightly at the TB. The cone shape. Also having it larger will help eliminate lag. There is filter air ready to be used. I am having a hella time explaining this right now. Sorry if that makes little sense

The j's racing promises 11 HP and 7 ft/lb i think... its not the most attractive but from reading posts about it i have heard it gives wonderful mid-range pull and a much better throttle response over AEM.
You guys sound like a bunch of ignornant morons.
The J's racing is incredibly popular in the B series world.
The throttle resonse from an intake that large is phenomenal.
Go into the ITR forum and see how many people who have owned both prefer the J's over the AEM.
The AEM V2 tries to minimic the J's throttle response and flow.

If you dont have any experience with a product why voice your misguided uneducated opinion?
