Default installing air/fuel gauge

well tomorrow im going to install the air/fuel gauge in my car i was wounding which wire do i splice on the o 2 sensor is it the green one or the white one... by the way its going on a 94 gsr

you could do that but i think it would be easier to go through the ecu...thats how i hooked up mine and everything went well....

Yeah do that. I've always done that whenever I would install A/F guages. It is a lot easier to run the wires to the ECU, than to the O2 sensor.

when running to the ecu, would you still need a wideband O2 sensor for it to read effectively?

You'd also need a controller. PLXdevices makes a peice that will let you use a wideband setup with a narrowband guage.
