Friend & I cleaned up his engine bay tonight. *9 Pics* **DUW**
We have a few wires to hide still. But most of the harnesses are out of the way. Next "apperance" mod in the engine bay will be a black CAI and black Skunk2 manifold.
Plus can you see what he is getting ready for around the "Exhaust Manifold" area?
Starting to clear that area out.
UPDATE:
Look at the battery area... IT DON'T GET NO BETTA!
Almost Finished.
Look at the old Battery Area... Look at the new Battery Area!

He is waiting until the Skunk2 Mani & CAI goes on. I'm sure he'll be painting the new mani black.

This is what we started with. LS/Turbo

Then we swapped out the LS for a JDM b18c. Painted the engine bay black while the engine was out.

This is where he is at today. Turbo soon.

I always like cars with clean engine bays. It sucks when the exterior of cars are very nice and clean, but once they pop the hood open, its just super ugly. Ya feel?
Gotta be clean on the inside, as well as the outside.

my engine bay is really dirty can you post how you did it so i can do mine!!! i kno there has been many how tos on this but im intrested in the way you did it !!
Looks pretty good. It is really black....that's probably why it looks extra clean. Only thing sticking out is the gay GSR intake manifold
In regards to rerouting those wires, what exactly did you do? I know this is a fairly popular thing for people to do, but I have never actually seen how they do it....

Here's all that I did after the b18c was in:
Wiring
*relocated wiring harness under frame on driver & pass side
*new heat shielding and/or wrapping of all exposed wires
*moved all headlight/signal wiring from on top of frame, to under wheel well. Feeding the wires up through holes already drilled by factory
*removed aftermarket 8mm red spark plug wires in favor of stock black wires
*relocated vtec wiring under starter and out of sight
*removed all stock ground wires in favor of new, heavier gauge wires with nice connectors
*relocated fuel injector wires from on top of fuel rail, to underneath rail, through runners, and underneath manifold
Hoses
*relocated brake booster hose underneath brake booster and back behind intake manifold
*relocated fuel pressure regulator hose down and partially out of sight
*relocated radiator catch can hose when can was relocated
Parts moved/switched
*Itr radiator removed in favor of smaller, stock civic radiator
*radiator catch can relocated from passenger side of radiator, to mounted in front of radiator and out of sight
*removed STR oil cap in favor of stock black cap
*black brake booster and clutch fill socks added
*ALL power steering and ac components, including wiring, hoses, and brackets have been removed
Painting -the following was all stripped and painted black
*valve cover stripped, texturized, and painted black
*fual rail
*fuel pressure regulator
*cap at end of fuel rail
*driver side motor mount
*exaust heat shield
*radiator
*radiator cap
*brake booster
*clutch fill bracket
*vtec solenoid
*valve cover nuts, bolts, washers, and grommets
*Battery
*Hood latch mechanism
All stripping was done using aircraft paint remover
Primer was the cheapest i could find
All paint was Dupli-color 500 and 1200 degree high temp paint
There might be more, but I cant remember right now.

nice job but just wondering why you painted ur enigne bay black, youre car is green, i dunno maybe you are going to paint it black but if not that seems kinda stupid to me, black you can't spot leaks that easly, but whatever just my input

Because we're getting the car ready for a color change. No matter what color the car is, a black engine bay will work prefectly.
Plus, this car will NEVER leak a drop of oil. If it does, we'll fix it.
