FS: 1992 Civic Cx Turbo - Fully Built GSR - 350 whp - Hondata S200 - $8500 LOTS OF PICS
This is seriously depressing. Heh, so much time and money have went into this car. Seriously, I spent an entire year devoted to this car. Everything on this car is no nonsense.
This was a solid 11 second car.
It put 342 hp at only 12.5 psi from the T3/T4. With bigger injectors, little bit more boost and tuning. Easy 425 whp on pump gas.
It was daily driven to and from work/class. And on the new motor/set up I've put only about 4,000 miles.
The car itself has 145,000 (hard to keep track since I keep changing gauge clusters).
The car is currently driveable, but I wouldn't recommend it, as you would risk damaging the $1100 RS Sleeves. If you live within 100 miles I can tow it to your house for free, with AAA.

White paint is in pretty good condition. A few dents here and there, but overall ok. The front bumper has seen better days, but i bought it like that, and never got around to getting a new one. It's definitely not a show car though. Since I never paid too much to the car's appearance.

Reasons for selling? I'm going to be buyinga new car soon. One with AC. And my priorities have totaly changed. I just need to get out of the scene for a while I think.
Reason for selling so cheap? I don't have the $ to keep up with this car. With the recent problem, I can't afford to fix it
It seems as if cylinder #4 has lost compression. Cause? Detonation. The cylinder walls are still 100% perfect.
You can either rebuild the current block for a good price.
Or build another block for it.
Either way, you have yourself an 11 second street driven beast, for under 10g's after the build.
I can source you a spare B16 or B18C block if the price is right.
I can also recommend you to a shop who does excellent work.
Seriously this car is a ******* bargain. If you stopped and added up everything I've done to the car. It would be extremely depressing.
I have many extra parts, that I wouldn't mind throwing in if the price was right.

Yeah. I masked off the fins, and sprayed a few light coats of black over the intercooler. Did wonders.

Car ran must've ran lean for a split second. I can only assume the cold densor air caused the boost to raise a tiny tiny bit. But that's all it needed, since the 550 injectors were maxed out at 100%.

Came back found the very tip of the spark plug missing. Doh!
Checked compression, #4 was quite a bit off. Haven't run it since.
The sleeves are fine, and pistons seem to be in one piece, so it's obviously the ringlands or rings of #4.
But yeah, I'll talk your head off about it when anyone comes to check it out. Even pull the head.
I'm trying to sell it as a whole dirt cheap for now just to save the hassle of parting it out. But I'll give it a week more before I start pulling out the parts.
The asking price is $8500....

Anyone who's ever owned a turbo honda knows to never stop and add up how much you've spent. Because it's horribly depressing.
Notice nowhere there did I list a price for the motor or build or even the car itself. Or even any of the labor for anything. Or the endless time I spent under this car...
A new short block or rebuild this one... and you have an 11 second street car. All for under 10g's.

I just would highly advise against it. The RS sleeves are the best in quality. And it would be best to avoid the possibility of damaging them, until the problem is addressed.

One day i just figured that i couldnt deal with it anymore(no time, school, no money, etc.) finally sold it and got a wrx that drives with a/c, 36k warranty, and comfort. It was fun while it lasted tho
