Default abs removal

So far i've removed the wheel sensors, the computor and all the wiring(split open the loom on my wiring harness and got every single wire). Now i'm gonna get the master cylinder, brake booster, brake lines, and proportioning valve from a 94 rs w/o abs. I almost positive it will work but I wanted to see if anyone has done the before to give me some advise.

also, this is for a 94 gsr.

nope, nobody has been stupid enough to decrease the safety of their vehicle and jack up their insurance rates by intentionally removing their abs.

Jesus Christ here we go again ... . . . . go play in traffic do everyone a favor

anyway to answer your Q , you can prog just get away withthe prop valve and the new brake lines.
i left my stock master cyl and **** in, just changed to a 2nd gen prop valve and rebent new hard lines
removed all the old **** and works like a charm.
to be honest withyou i did mine becuase of having to meet weight limits for my classs. if you are just using this for DD and arent real nutty with racing and mods, dont waste the time and effort IMO

I'm taking mine off next week. All you should need is front brake lines, prop valve, master cylinder and booster. I priced all mine from a local salvage yard for $100.

if you are going to replace your master cyl. and your car is 97 below get one from a 93 integra gsr, they are bigger. same as nsx, use a 94 rs prop valve those are same as jdm itr non abs, you'll also need front lines.

removing your abs is not for everybody, i personally like it without. but on wet roads or snow i sometimes wish i had them.

at the track for me anyways i can brake alittle later without abs.
with abs the modulator pulses and it seems that the car is not braking harder.
my tracktime is also faster without abs.

The 93 gsr master cylindar will end up being from an abs equiped car so I don't see how this will work?

How much did the junk yards quote brake lines for?

Don't I need all four brake lines or just the front?

Any pics of engine bays w/removed abs?

you drive like a granny? j/k

good, just hoping some new driver doesnt read this thinking that removing his abs will make him cool, but instead make him a mark on tree off the side of a curve.

you can read in any skid pad test between an abs equiped car and a non abs equiped car and the test shows every time that the non abs car stops faster and more accurately, abs was put to use on cars because people to not know how to work the braking system properly on their vehicles

care to cite a source? btw, most people dont use abs on dry pavement going around a curve; most people use abs when the weathers shitty and something happens ahead of them on the way to the stop light.

i do agree with you that on a shity road (icy or wet) abs will help alot. and to a regular driver abs is a good thing.
removing your abs should only be done if you know your car well, i sudjest that you spend some time with the abs fuse or the abs fuse box disconetcted so you get the feel of your car without abs before completely removing the system.

that i will agree with. I have had my car in every type of racing you can come up with as well as some not so smart street driving at times.
I know what it will do in almost every aspect it can be in . i felt very comfortable taking mine out.
