I have lost the original image, of the car. It was under a metal canopy, with people all around it and a van behind it. I cleaned up the pic to look like this:
Then decided to put it under the Chicago L. The original Chicago L pic is here:
Here's the final result, with a lot of little details involved with making the ar "fit" the picture, and from the "passenger" side now:

Exactly.. Those are NOT skills. All you did was highlight some **** then use filters. Yah, that last pic looks pretty cool, but I can replicate it in about 15 seconds. Skills = Doing cool **** without depending on filters for the majority of it.

I'm not knocking on your skills or anything. I'm just saying that photoshop is doing all the work when you use filters like that. Those pictures are cool man.

To you people that say filters are n00by, you need to reword that, cause to do anything quality like you have to use the filters, it's layer styles that frowned upon, it is better to make your own drop shadow, or glow. Show me a high quality chop that doesn't use filters, and even some of those high quality print job's in mags and things have ummm not many things done to them other than touch ups, and hue saturation to achieve the affect that this guy did.
This thread was meant just to see peoples skills in photoshop. Some individuals will have weaker skills and some will be more professional. I am simply just posting what I have done and hoping others would do the same with out all the bullshit. In no way do I think I am the best photoshoper, im learning and just want to see some other peoples stuff.

HOLY ****. I HAVE TO COMMENT ON THIS FINE CHOP. GODDAMN! WELL DONE!!!
I mean, it seriously looks perfect, the images through the window and stuff.
1st class chop
EDIT: Btw, you guys may find like the use of filters totally skill-less and ****, but i mean, finding and using a good filter to match the car and its conditions is not that easy. Throwing on any random filter and expecting it to look good is impossible. Give the dude some credit. You were definatly once like this during your learning stage.

I take that as the ultimate compliment.
Smiling from ear-to-ear.

Sorry. I fixed it.

All of these are very low res. I don't want to strain we-todd-did-racing, they are very accomodating as it is. The psd is only 1690 * 1303, but I'd rather save that one for myself. ;-) Because of the varriances in original image quality (from the orange teg and the chicago L pics, I have had to "draw" in quite a bit of the teg to make it acceptable. The original image had some nasty jpg compression artifacts that I cleaned up. I'm kicking myself because I left the psd for that process at my old office.
