I recently purchased this itr climate control from a member on HT, I won't disclose his username (yet). It appears that this has been a DIY itr climate control rather than a genuine itr climate control.. What do you guys think? (AC button)
Here is one I have for sale on ebay...notice that the hazzard light switch is on different sides...yours looks like a DIY off of a USDM
It looks like the it did not come with an AC button, and he just swapped in an AC button from a non ITR. Its easy to swap the hazzard and rear defrost button. The colour looks right, and as long as the CF tim looks right, then it should be authentic

Yes this was a USDM itr climate control and it had no cf trim. I hear that 00-01 came with the cf trim, not previous years tho.
So the defrost and the hazard are not in their correct positions?
The light appears to be more red than amber to me. Anyone have pix of their usdm itr climate controls? please post them. thank you.

Thats probably an LS or RS guage cluster, not an ITR cluster.
I know that the JDM climate control hazzard and rear defrost are supposed to be opposite sides compared to USDM...

the AC button should light up amber , i jus checked mine and its amber . the amber lighting on the climate control looks oem but your amber lighting on your clock and cluster looks more DIY .

The clock that you have shown is not an ITR clock. The amber should match up exactly with the amber on the climate control. Should be deep orange, not that whitish orange. I would talk to whoever sold you the clock.
The climate control appears to be real, at least the color appears to be, but the AC button has been switched.

I actually had a diy amber clock (which is up for sale) by using transparent film but it was difficult to make out time during the day possibly because 2 layers of film were laid over the lcd. With the clock I currently have its really beautiful even during the day, its very legible. I love the color output on my cluster and clock.. I wish the itr climate control would do the same.. to me it appears reddish (not amber)

They are in their correct positions. Hazard is on the left, close to the driver.
