i like it alot. if you go three inch all the way back with a straight-through muffler, do you think that cutout will help much? 'cause i was thinking about doing the same thing....

WOT=open loop.....02 isnt used. im also adding another o2 bung closer to the turbine for a wideband.

 

the catback exhaust isnt 3.0 inch right now.....i forget what it is exactly, but the dp necks down right at the end. im trying to convince the owner of the car to run a full 3.0 exhaust....should be fun then

I eventually scrapped this in favor of a full 3" SS exhaust as the e-cutout kept falling apart ( I went through 3 of these )

But props to getting creative.

i went through 2 ecut outs before i gave up on them, i used the mccord ecut, and man all i can say is PIECE OF CRAP

I used the one from QuickTime and the had it mounted as in the pic I posted. I didn't mind the fact that the unit didn't seal fully but on two occasions the actual housing where the motor sits came loose due to the vibration I guess. Thus the motor would fall apart and that was the end of that.

These are great ideas to run but the reliability factor just wasn't there for me.

 

I think Javier needs welding lessons.

im lovin it.. i like how u put the ecutout on its striaght downpipe. usually the ecutout is on the other part of the y pipe.. if i were to do it id do it the way u did.. nice welds man.. damn too beautiful
