dyno results: greddy turbo kit on GSR
First of all lets just say I don't know if i should be proud or disappointed.
i gained 29 whp from the 3'' piping and skunk2 IM alone.
my earlier whp before my exhaust and IM upgrade was 191.3 whp 173.1 torque
here are the new numbers:
MAX whp: 219.6
MAX torque:168.4
setup:
b18c1
greddy turbo kit (18g) 7psi on blue box
2.5-3'' d/p and 3'' piping to 80mm apexi n1 muffler
skunk2 IM
greddy type24 fmic (big one)
hit me with your opinions and where im headed to. my main goal is touching 300whp.. can i do it? im loosing hope in my ride

Definitely room for improvement. You can get 300whp. I would definitely get better fuel management though if you want to achieve this. I saw Boosted Hybrid tune a GSR with a Greddy kit and 14psi he made 285whp on a stock block with hondata. So its possible to get to 300whp.

nice numbers... i take it you aren't using the tdo5-18g turbine.
i just purchased the apexi power fc and RC 550cc injectors. my goal is to get everything ready and tuned by january.
what kind of boost controllers are u guys running with?

You need some real engine management, man. Your setup is almost identical to my friend's 2000 Civic Si. The only real difference is the engine management. He had Hondata and you have the blue box. He made 240 whp @ 8psi.

Now thats what I like to read
. Can't wait to have a visit with boostedhybrid soon.
But you definately have to sell that blue box and atleast run the afc hack for the time being if you can't afford the Hondata. And get bigger injectors if your lookin to get 300whp.
BTW what rpm do you hit full boost at?

hondata, aem, afc hack have all been options to me. I've searched and browsed this forum for almost 2 years reading and reviewing turbo information.
I purcashed the Apexi Power FC recently because there is a Power Excel tuner here where i live, and it is the shop i go to on the regular. they have tuned many hondas with the power fc and had results that i liked.
again my goal is to touch 300whp nothing more. (for now)
stock block
550cc injectors
14psi on 18g tuned
outcome: ?

As mentioned earlier, with engine management and more boost, 300 whp will be simple.....I am running the 18g on my ls motor at 15 psi on race gas, and it feels pretty damn good...Thats with the stock 2' downpipe and 2 1/4 hks exhaust......Dont loose faith in the greddy turbo.....It will feel strong as **** once u up the boost w/ proper tuning....good luck
