Unofficial pictures of my (boring) car for those interested
Unofficial because there are still odds and ends to take care of before this project is complete (then again is any project ever complete?) and the thing has not received a decent cleaning and fresh coat of wax since 5/22/2000 (16 months)!
Please just refresh the page if any pics aren't showing up.
Only appearance mod: clear corners (soon to be replaced with Stanley one-piece). The PIAAs are more function than form.

Garden variety Accord...

Garden variety Accord (except for Greddy which you can hardly see here)...

Not so garden variety Accord... (okay the blue valve cover is form over function)

The previous owner of this engine didn't even get to put 5,000 miles on it before getting their Prelude totaled.

This is no time for snapshots... hence the blur and glare.

Alas, somewhat disapointing dyno run. Horrible A/F ratio which never gets above 12 and is downhill from there (need larger intake and I've got a V-AFC sitting on my bedroom floor). 161.5 HP 135.1 ft-lbs.

Hoping some tuning and tweaking will get me at least 170 to the wheels.

wow. . cool to see the difference in gearing between the accord tranny and prelude tranny. by 8000 rpm i'm hitting a little past 75mph. cool to do that in second!
lol. . . . good looking sleeper, though. i need to shoot some of my own. . . .
( i, too, have kept the accord lx[though yours is an ex] tag in the back. . . heh heh)

A sickly amount.
$9,764.
I hear most people get it done for $3-5K.
I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

Dave,
Who installed your H22A4 for you?
I hope you're planning on correcting that rich a/f mixture quickly, you're going to go through plugs like toilet paper. Get an Apex V-AFC unit, and Chris over at Altered Atmostphere will adjust your V-AFC to keep the a/f mixture between 12.5 and 13.5. Not only will your car run better, but it'll optomize it's performance potential across the entire RPM range, and even improve your fuel economy! (I get 28mpg city consistently in my F22B1 with hard daily driving!).
Oh, how much did Altered charge you for your dyno? My run up there was a bit pricey unfortunately.

CDE Motorsports did the install. Way pricey but I'm very happy with their work.
Altered charged me $85 for 3 dyno runs. I've got a VAFC and had it for months, just haven't gotten around to installing it
And as you might expect I'm pretty damn broke

i remember seeing your car over there... it was there for over two weeks b/c of half-shaft fitment problems, correct? (i think that's what James told me)... my car was there for about a week (while i was on vacation) when yours was; perhaps you saw it there
It's 95 2 door... with that light metallic blue color (called sage green)... it had stock rims on it while it was at CDE, wings west big mouth front end, and a few other exterior subtleties...
