I would rock one, the stock hatch is heavy as hell. I would paint mine though.

Kick ******* ***. For those of you *clueless* I'm assuming the stock hatch weighs close to 150 lbs or more.

I need details...

- Price
- Weight
- Where to buy

Thanks,
Todd

have you ever taken one off? they are quite heavy, I would guesstimate at least 75+ pounds, the mechanisms and latches all add up.

Maybe mine feels heavier because it has a bad mechanism or something...not sure. I always thought that it was heavy though for safety.

I was looking at a fiberglass hatch, and basically yes. the hatch is no longer operational. the whole idea is weight reduction. I'm not sure about the VIS CF hatch. This is the first I have seen it.

Who the **** are you?

So maybe I was exaggerating, but either way for weight reduction I'm sure a CF hatch would be more beneficial than a CF hood.

When I swapped mine out, it felt like it was around 30-40lbs just guessing, and the cf one I got was 6lbs. I used all the factory hardware, it's fully functional.
