Aren't there any turbo kits for a 2001 GSR??? Why are there turbo kits for 94-99 and 99-00 but not 0
Ive already done a search on honda tech and found people asking the same question but no answer. Ive also done a search on the internet.
1. Why the hell hasn't anybody bothered to make a decent kit for an 01 gsr?
2. What is the difference between 99 and the 00/01? ex. greddy.
3. Why the hell are companies making kits for 99 and 00 and not 01???
Thanks for your help.
O and BTW i did a search on the net and found the following. Are they any good?
Revhard kits (some guy said he could order me one at a local shop)
Drag turbo kit gen3 kits
TurboKits.com - FMax bolt-on turbo systems 92-01 Acura Integra (ALL)
Im not sure if these turbo kits are any good. Alittle insight will be helpful

revhard and drag are both good kits. and try and put this in the forced induction forum and you will get some good replies.
You might get this question a lot but i figured I'd ask it anyway because I could not find a FAQ on your site. The turbo kit for the Acura integra says 94-95 GSR or 96-99 GSR. I know Acura switched to OBD-II in 1996 and kept it that way throughout 2001. Why cant I find a greddy kit for my 2000 Integra GSR? Is the ECU different? Will the 99 work for the 2000? If I buy a harness and put a 1999 GSR ECU into my 2000 GSR (this harness does exists) will your 96-99 kit work for me?

Differences in the ECU will not allow our current FCU program (from the 96-99 GSR Turbo kit) to work properly. However the hard
parts like the piping, turbo, manifold, etc. will fit fine, except the down
pipe may have to be shortened. So if you can build you own supplemental
fuel system for it, it could work. Although we can not recommend installing
the it on anything other then the 96-99 GSR. The CARB EO# for the the 96-99 GSR will not cover any kit that is modified at all or used on an application not named on the part description.

That is an email I sent greddy. Right now I am planning an N/A set-up because I live in Cali and I HAVE to be SMOG legal. I heard some of the baove kits you mentioned were incomplete. If you find ANYTHING please let me know....
