okay so if you didnt know, background: brakes felt toasted after HPDE. went to change pads, front look fine, rotors too. Decide that i just boiled the fluid again, time to bleed. I replaced the rear pads anyway because they were two different sizes on either side.
problem: now after installation, the pads are too dam close to the rotors in the rear. I twisted the piston back into the caliper, pleanty far to fit. They rub TOO much moreso on the passenger side. I then proceed to adjust the parking brake per the manual, rear end in air, adjust nut till brakes to not rub. They rub BAD. even with the adjustment nut COMPLETELY loosened.
do i need to retract the pistons even further? but even then they will just be brought up against the pad the first time the brakes are pressed.
what should i do to get rid of this HORRIBLE squeeling everywhere i go?

Check the two bolts that hold the caliper to the caliper bracket. They are 12 mm bolts/ two of them. Mine locked up inside and seized, there for making brakes drag. Pull the bolts out and make sure they compress.. does this make any sense? hope this helps.

both are dragging.
and about the bolts, ya i have actually had the bolts back out and i had to replace them with 13mm bolts, but the thread and pitch is the same so that shouldnt be a problem.
