I just got a 92 DX hatch teal 5 speed w/only 93xxx just need some ideas on what appearance/motor mods would be the most worthy...... lets see some pics of the Teal EGs

 

ok. Do it right for the love of god. Mods go in this order, no negotiating:

1) swap. Just do it and get it over with. its a hatch for the love of god put a swap in
2) suspension. Groundcontrols, KONI yellows
3) wheels. Rotas will do fine. Bronze and teal is super sexual.
4)motor/lighetning etc...

 

wrong, do suspension first, thats the correct way. and i would go with white rims, like rnr's. yes rota's are light, but those wheels suck, keep that in mind

 

id say security first. an alarm for instance

 

Definitly an alarm. Whenever I hear people's stories of how their car got jacked its always the same reason....no car alarm. Sure some thieves know how to work around them but its still better than nothin.

 

i would say do suspension first, get that wheel gap fixed and go for some better handling

 

white wheels and skunk 2s with konits , then integ suspension
and then swap

An alarm is good because you will need one in the future regardless. Next should be your personal prefrence aiming towards what you want your car to be in the end, show or go?



Is this the color teal you have or is it the lighter color? This color is actually called "paradise blue" from the factory but I think it has more green/teal to it rather than blue. Then again, I think I'm half color blind.

 

1. Alarm
2. Suspension
3. Rims
4. Swap
5. Bolt on mods
6. Engine mods( ie: pistons, cams etc.)

* There may be things like interior accessories and what not that may fall somewhere in between there, but the first four MUST happen before all other mods.

But do what you want

my personal favorite order is

1. lowering springs
2. swap
3. I.H.E.
4. rims
5. suspension(shocks,strut bar,stuff like that)
6. paint

Swap it and take it from there all personal preference

Yep, its a Fiberglass lip I had made off my original Spoon/Benen Lip. This one and the one on my other HB are the only ones left from the 4 made.

 

Alarm, Suspension, Engine, Then some wheels (btw dont be stupid and spend like 1000 or 1500 on wheels, theft magnet and you can use the savings for PERFORMANCE PARTS)

this is good way to go. also depends on where you live, and so forth
