Default frame sliders

Does anyone have any info (urls, personal experience, etc) on putting frame sliders on a CBR F2?

On a side note, how exactly do the sliders mount to the frame?

Are you talking about carbin frame covers or crash bungs?. Crash bungs are good at protecting the swingarm, engine casings etc...they screw in. The frame rail covers mount by taking off the tank.

They're called frame sliders because they're designed to keep the frame from getting damaged in a slide. Most vary due to application. Fortunaltly, the CBR600 has a lot of aftermarket frame slider kits. The ones I've seen go into existing threads on the frame and use a large stud to support the bike on a synthetic nylon or other plastic bushing. A scratch on the frame can total a bike. Frame sliders do not always and or not designed to save plastic or engine/alternator guards or anything else but the frame.

Intuitive race products and Lockhart Philips make up the most popular sources.
