I brought my car into my friends shop today to have him do body work and repaint the car. I decided to get it professionally done this time (we all make mistakes). These are the pics that I took today before I had to put the camera down. All of the progress shown in these pics was done in about an hour... The guy doing the body work is pretty badass...

The shop has old license plates all over the place, I found this one...I think they're gonna let me take it home...

it's a 92 hatch...small world...

Also, he had the new door skin on the door about 20 minutes after he removed the old one. We also sanded the car down and removed things like headlights and taillights. Tommorow we will be wet sanding and doing more body work, should be going into the booth on Saturday or Sunday...

I'm painting it back to Milano Red, so jams and stuff are already done...

skin was $67 from auto-bodyparts.com

 

where in Va is this?

 

it isn't in Va, they get license plates from rental car Companies that bring their car's there to get body work done before they try to sell them. They have license plates from all over the country...

well, the doors skins were not genuine honda, but they were OEM. The guy doing the work said that it was kind of cheaply made because would dent real easy. Nothing too serious, if you can remove a door skin you can most probably fix the little dings that come with putting it on...
