r/s ratio on the k24 is in the low 1.5's
welcome to non-rev happy land.
it'll make killer torque everywhere, but have f1 style piston speeds if you rev it to 8000 rpm.
do a short runner intake manifold to move the powerband up on the k24 if you are going all-motor.

Good to see you in here Dave.

Which companies, if any, are making bottom end parts for the k24?

Bad or not bad. LSVtec revved like a ****, and i have seen people rev those things like no bodys business.

I have seen people use Prelude pistons in Sleeved Bseries. If im not mistaken, Cheetah did this.

Might be able to, just wonder if the makeup of the piston is the same. Hopefully the compression with the h22 wouldnt be too high or low. Dome height hopefully wont be a problem.

I know FF geoff has talked of a drag racer or 2 using a K24 in a Insight. Wonder if this dragracer is using aftermarket parts in the bottom end, or if Full race or any other companies might be making pistons or rods for the k24.

Hopefully this will be for the a3 and k24 heads as well as the a2 head. Hopefully more support will grow for the EP and 2.4 with their Single stage vtec

A few companies are making parts to test on our k24 as we speak. The cams should be ready now!!

If anyone doesn't believe in the K24, our car put down 170hp 150ft-lbs with a STOCK k24 with bolt-ons......that's 150ft-lbs from 2800 to 5500rpms. On the 65 shot it put down 225hp 246ft-lbs.

So does the K20a2.

I just like the geometry of the K20 better I guess.

Golden Eagle can do sleeves and deckplates for K-series..

Get a K24 block, sleeve, deckplate, and build it. Stock 99mm crank.

88mm bore x 99mm stroke = 2409cc. That could rev to 9,500+rpms.

With a proper flowing ported heads, huge cams and valvetrain, itb's, lots of tuning, high compression, im sure people will be making 330-350+whp all motor eventually. That will be the day.

That'd be one tall motor. Piston speed would be crazy with 99mm stroke at 9500rpm.

Does anyone know what the maximum bore for a F/I K24 is?

Also, with Todas VTC Killer cam gears (and necessary ECU junk) is it just like adjusting the timeing on a B series?

Is it just me or did that make absolutely no sense whatsoever to someone else too?

I've read on here that the max bore for a N/A K24 is like 91mm or something, so what is the max bore for F/I?

Toda's VTC Killer cam gears....They get rid of the Variable Valve Timing and the stock ECu won't work with them. When using these, is it just like cam gears on a B series when tuning and stuff (as VVT is removed)?

Guess it was just me. I don't know enough about the K24 to intelligently contribute.
