JSP makes CF hoods and trunks. not sure about their URL, but if JSP.com isn't it, it would be easy to google it. i think the quality is pretty good, but i have no experience with them.

Backyard special here in Japan that makes them for $980(CFRP), $680(FRP) and the acrylic glass is $480.

Where in the hell do Japanese companies get their pricing systems because they would sell a lot more if they stop trying to make 300% profit off of every item.

omg honestly that looks sick. imagine a two tone color car. blue on the bottom. cf hood then painted roof black to a cf trunk sweet in my opinion. hopefully i will have enough money for my gsr when that time comes.

Dee, you also have to understand their dollar to our dollar is alot better. I do not think they intend to rip us off but the resources over there are more valuable.

Yes.. they do! Most Japanese companies believe in monopolies and over charging! Most Japanese parts aren't meant for export so why would you screw over your own people? Parts that cost $50 to make are always sold for $300 and there's is very little R&D put into these parts. I am glad the small time copycats are finally putting dents in the Mugen, Spoon, Honda Twincam customer pool.

Please remember, a huge part of that weight is contributed by the humungous piece of glass - back windshield. If you do end up getting the CF trunk but keeping the stock rear window, it's not going to help a lot.

If you are getting a FAL back windshield, then that's a different story

For ~$1000, I'd expect slightly better fitment than what is shown in that photo.

using the FAL glass window would help a lot with weight..but this is not intended for street use...cause u cant use the rear defogger...which is a no no if it rains and your rear window gets fogged up...i think a company http://www.seibon.com sells that CF rear hatch for the integra..but i have never seen one in person...
