Default Dyno: 290 whp Stock ls

Tuned my car today...

Heres the setup
Stock 95 ls longblock
golden eagle blockguard
drag manifold
garret t3/t40e
2.5" downpipe and exhaust
gm 3 bar map sensor
dsm 450cc injectors

I was running just about 17 psi and I used Crome version 0.6.8 to tune it.

im in a dx hatch.. The car is just INSANE on the highway. i get no traction until 4th...most likely due to my stock hx wheels and 185/60 tires

yea i'd like to know the duty cycle too...i'm probably pretty close to maxing them out. after i saw how much fuel it needed i raised the fuel pressure to about 53 psi and pulled some fuel from the map to try and keep the injectors happy.

definitly the rims and tires.

< same power as you, heavier car, gsr tranny, bfg drag radials/gsr wheels = traction in every gear.

good job on the power

so basically 17lbs of boost is fine on a stock ls sleves.. not bad, but I remember seeing some LS stock make close to 300whp on like 12lb of boost ? maybe im wrong. Neverless nice number

17 psi is fine if you tune it right...conservative timing and rich air/fuel mixture are important. Also, you have to remember that not everyone has the same size turbo...so 12 psi on a slightly larger turbo may make the same power im making at 17.

yeah, I also topped out with DSMs...I could have been in mid-300's if I hadn't gone 100% duty cycle at 7000rms...see sig

How much psi can the stock ls sleeves hold? With proper tuning.

290 good horsepower but i think you can get more out of it at 17 psi.
Well i guess it depends on your turbo.

SiBirdie,
Thats my car your talking about. I made 290 whp on 12 psi with garret t3/t4 turbo with 57 trim. Willis by looking at your dyno graph you look to be running a little rich between 5400-6400 rpm. You could probably pick up some more power by leaning it out a little.
