Beaverun open track day this Friday $150
Hey everyone -
As long as the weather is nice I'm going to head over to Beaverun for their open track day this Friday. Even though it costs $150 - I mean, how dare they charge $50 more than Nelson Ledges?!?
Anyway, just wondering - anyone else going Friday? Can anyone who has been to one of their open track events give a review?
Thanks!!

Last time I went to a open track day we got about 10, 20min sessions!!! and I'm not kidding!! There was only about 20 cars there. 2 runs groups. well woth the $150. They also gave us free lunch.
this was in the spring though, not sure what it's like now. I might come up, but my tires are getting low on tred and I need them for sat, and sunday and I don't have a back up set.

How does it work, You just show up. What time. Where did you get the info. There website says something about advance peformance driving for $265. Nothing regarding costs for open lapping day.

Hey, I'm glad some h-t people might be able to show up. That's how I originally heard about these track days - on here.
If you go to their web site (www.beaverun.com), check out the calendar and look for "Open/Club Lapping Day". That is what is scheduled this Friday. I called them up (724-535-1000) and they emailed me a very basic sheet on it that they ask you to return prior to Friday - it has a short safety checklist and asks for some basic car/driver information. Then, when you show up Friday morning you pay $150 and you're set.
Registration is 8-9 am and the track is open 9am-5pm with a one hour lunch break. It is alternating 15 minute run groups although if it isn't too crowded they will do 20 minute run groups - I asked and so far they don't expect too many people this week. But anyway expect at least 15 minutes each hour which isn't bad.
That's pretty much all I know, hope it helps!
