what the best clutch for around 400whp

cm stage 5?

clutchmasters stage 5. the stage 4 is awsome up to around 400+/- but starts to crap out after that, or thats my experience.

ya I have heard good things about the stage 5 CM or you could spend some money and get a twin disk. But the bad thing about the twin disk is that it's supposed to have monthly maintenance and it's not very street able.

Camp1320.com has Clutchspecialties HYPER CLUTCH. 4 and 6 puck. sprung and unsprung stage 3 and stage 4. i got mine for $295 and had it for over a year without any problems.

I have a Clutch Specialties 6 Puck Disc, Dual Diaphram pressure plate for over 30k miles NO problems.

I've put ACT 4 pucks with extreme pressure plates in three cars making around that kind of power and know of several others, all with no problems.

yeah this was a extreme disc and pressure plate

it was not a 4puck that would have held

i just like the clutchmasters feel
i had a stage 3 and it was good to me
for like 3 years

hopefully the stage 5 is just as impressive

A lot of people say to get "Tilton", but I can't find anyone selling them except Jeg's. But they don't have the "import" application.

It's easy to drive to me. I have one in my cable tranny and my bro has a stage 5 in his hydro tranny. Both are easy to drive.
