h22 stroker kit?
No one, the only thing you can really do is use an H23 crank, and pan, then you run into problems...ususally in the valve train.. just stick with the H22, you can make just as much power, with half as many headaches
stroke it!!!
There is always the H23 crank, getting a shop to weld you up a custom one, and I believe Top Fuel put one out for the H22 a while back, but noone ever said for sure.

I don't really think it's worth the money in my opinion. You won't be able to rev the hell out of it like you're used to.I'd just build up your H22,you'll be happier in the end.
I think a well-built stroker motor is VERY well worth the money. Yes, it moves the powerband lower, but it produces more horsepower. Check out some hi-HP VW Type I motors and see how much bigger the crank is from stock....
Oh, and for some personal expertise, ask 2Point6, he has a 2.44 stroker motor right now...

actually that was a misprint. They were offering it on their website for a while for something like 6g's, but pulled it. It was supposedly a 2.3l kit, but never went into production, their Super Lemon prelude is using stock crank, rods, just Jun Super pistons. I would say just stick to stock, but if you really want a stroker kit, R&D makes stroker kits and even makes them up to 2.6 liters, check them out at http://www.rddyno.com/
Ha thats a crazy kit, but Top Fuel makes a stroker kit for the H22. It strokes it from 2.2 to 2.3, and they said it works well with their turbo kit. I was amazed to find it, but its like $1500 and shipping. Check this site out their from Japan...www.takakaira.com

.... when they don't brake because you're trying to be greedy and get more displacement then you should be, right 2point6? lol.
Just remember, the more you stroke, the lower the max RPM's you can go, because the more stroked the motors the higher the piston speeds go.

jun does not have stroker. i am 100% positive on this. i have every jun internal made in my engine.. they dont offer one.. the jun prelude uses stock crank. i have all the dyno plots for the jun h22a, and the stock crank is retained

Hell yeah they can break... It took me a while to find something that would last on the street. So far the 2.44 is killer! Too bad all I do now is break tranny parts...lol.
