My friend has one i guess i could take a pic of his but i was just wondering if anyone had any online. thanks

As I mentioned before, unless I'm mistaken, the 92-93 Preludes came with the long armrest that extends to the rear seat without the leather center tray, EXCEPT for the 93 Vtecs which had a standard center console with no armrest (kinda like the stock ebrake cover on the 92-95 Civics) and the leather rear tray in between the rear seats and the OEM subwoofer above it.

The 94-96 Preludes came with the shorter armrest in front with the leather center tray in the rear. If you want to switch to the 94-96 Armrest, you're going to have to relocate the ebrake and the power mirror switch from the drivers side door panel to the center console.

If there happens to be a 3rd type of console available on the 92-93 Preludes besides the plain (no armrest one) and the long armrest one, I'd love to see a pic of it.

me and my friends 92 prelude S both have the long arm rest in the back but his has this foam padding that extends right up to the ebrake so you can rest your elbows on it. Its mounted where my change pocket is. Were both 92 canadian, and then the other day I seen a 93 SR or SI, with a few buttons on the side of the E-brake and no change pocket or foam rest at all with the long armrest in the back. The E-brake handle was in the center aswell. Everytime I see the inside of a 4th gen its different everytime. Has anyone documented some of this?

there are 3 different kinds of console. a long one with a middle e-brake that extends all the way to the backseat. a short one with a middle e-brake that doesn't go into the backseat. and a short one that has the e-brake up further and closer to the driver that has a compartment/armrest between the front two seats. from what i've seen, 92's have the long one, 93-94 have the short one with no armrest, 94+ has the last one. the dates may be wrong, but that's what i've seen while searching preludes for parts.

If I'm not mistaken that's the JDM armrest/cupholder. I've been looking for a long time on ebay to get one It's for the 93 console which is the short console that doesn't go back to the back seats, with ebrake in the middle. Then the armrest bolts down over the end of the console which adds the armrest, and inside are 2 cupholders.

Just for reference

Only the 92's had that long armrest that goes to the back seat, and there were multiple armrest options for the 93's....
There was a weird shaped one that wrapped up to the ebrake handle, the one shown in that pic, then none at all.....

Most came with the one shown

You're right about where I got the pics from. And here's the link for the auction if anyone is interested:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...33927

It's at $155.50 with 14 hours left! But it DOES come with a foglight switch! LOL!

i'm converting to a 94+ console, but from a rhd vehicle. i'm using a usdm lhd ebrake assembly, but that's only if i can get the release button unstuck. does anyone know if bolting the assmebly down is okay?
