Camber kit noise?
Just wondering if anyone else has this problem and if so, is there a solution because my ears are hurting from the bass that I have to have in order to tune out this clacking noise?!!

camber kit rubbing on the inner fender wall, yes its normal and there are about four other threads up this week about it... ingalls kits hit the inner fenderwall almost always without modification. Skunk2's usually dont but sometimes do as in my case, and i dont know about any other kits.

I don't think this is a normal sound that I'm talking about. I understand from the other threads that the slammed cars hit the upper fender(near shock tower). For this reason I myself had to raise my car, thinking that the clacking(this is the only way I can explain the noise, makes it on the slightest bump/pothole) would dissappear but still exist. If this is not what you are talking about, could you please explain what part of the inner fender wall that you are talking about.
Thanx!

I now understand where it is that you are talking about. It no longer hits that part of the fender anymore since I raised the car. The car has to bottom out in order to hit the upper fender. Any other advice?
mone makes a crazy creaking noise. it sounded as if it were coming from the kit (ingalls) so i used lithium grease and bolted it back tight. it still made the noise. then i thought it was the tower strut bars. i unbolted it and drove around for a bit. and that wasnt it. it sounds like it is coming from the shock tower. that little "hat" that sits on top of the shock assembly but i greased that the best i could and its still there. small bumps and dips.. creeeak/crunch. i dunno. some of it was the bushings, and i lubed them it does it less but when in a hard corner all i hear is creaking and a crunching noise. any input?

No offense, but the noise that I'm referring to has no reference to the hitting of the camber kit on the upper fender. That is an obvious design flaw on Ingalls part. I will check on the mounting bolt, but I'm not sure if that's the solution. Thanks for the info though. I'll be under my car tomorrow to see if that's the case.
Ingalls are notorious for being noisy. Use silicon spray and lots of it. Jack up the car and spray like you were born to do it. Lower the car and do the other side. Drive around the block or have you and your friends open the doors and jump up and down on the floorsills to work the silicon into the camber kit. Raise the car and spray again. If that doesn't work, visit http://www.specprod.com to get a new kit!
