Default Best lowering springs for DC5

I'm looking for a nice lowered stance and the best ride for the street. i would really appreciate it if some of you DC5 guys could show some pics of your car lowered and let me know what springs you have on it.

Thanks
David

it depends how much you wanna spend though....
but here's mine

GROUND CONTROL coilovers
KONI yellow shocks(adjustalbes)-- you could rebuild when it blows up.. so you would get your moneys worth.
and crazy ride

but if you don't care about MONEY dan go with TEIN dampers FOR SURE!!

i heard only good things about Progress Group Springs.

I used to ride on the Comptech Sport Springs and with 17 inch wheels and a 40 profile tire, there was about a 2 1/2 finger gap between the tire and fender. Sorry, but I got no pics of it.

if someone will host my pix, i'll send some of my car. it's on goldlines, they're even all the way around and only dropped it about 1.5 inches. handling is better than stock. and no need for shocks.

both on s.tech...silver is mine. abp is lower b/c he has a system which some how made him actually lower (we measured both fenders and wheel gap) . also he has the lip kit which made it look lower

S-tech is ok in my opinion..I had the Stechs on my car for a week then i got rid of them and decided that in order to achieve the feel I wanted, (more responsive steering, better dampening for bumps, a stiffer ride) I knew that I would have to go with the full coilover/damper setup..Tein/JIC...and now all I'm doing is just waiting for my FLT-A2's to arrive

I've driven on the S Tech not bad....feels ok. I prefer the Spoon Progressive springs though. The S Tech however give a lower drop...

Either the Tein or the Spoon would be a good choice.

I have heard good things about the S tech springs, but if you have the cash get the Tein Flex complete coilover bro, I have them on my type S. Trust me it's like night and day with these. You may just want to save your money and get the Flex, I had the skunk2 coilovers before and they were decent, but after I got the Flex it was amazing and I was kind of pissed that I didnt save up my money and get the flex to begin with.
