Guys, I picked up my AEBS Intake manifold and headed directly to the shop to get it dyno tested.

We did several baseline runs on my bone stock ITR. We then installed the AEBS Intake Manifold and did several more runs. With NO OTHER modifications (timing, computer, fuel, ignition) we were able to pick up 12 HP at the wheels, with strong gains throughout the ENTIRE powerband. The least amount of gain was about 5 HP anywhere in the powerband.

Here are the results:
Stock MAX 152.7HP 107.6 Torque
With Manifold: Max 163.2HP 113.0 Torque.

Ill be posting the dyno sheet as well as pictures tomorrow evening.

I know some people were concerned with the fitment issue but we had no problems installing the manifold and it is a VERY clean install. You can see the pictures tomorrow night.

Everyone at the shop was very impressed with the results of the dyno testing as well and they expressed interest in hosting in groupbuy for the Intake manifold. I am gauging interest in the manifold so PLEASE email me if you are interested. The more people we get in this, the lower the price can drop. So drop me an email if you are the least bit interested. I should be able to have some pricing figures in a couple days.

im sure there would be more gains with a modded motor ehh..

BTW.. how much was the exact total, minus the shipping.

 

where is the max HP gained? is it peak HP or somewhere in the midrange?

Your itr baseline sounds pretty low compared to many that I've seen (and two of my own itr's).

The manifold was devloped by Paulus Le of AEBS, but the company that produces it is called Professional Products. You can order it through AEBS directly, or better yet group buy

What dyno was this on??? This sounds like an ad, disguised as a post.

My 95 GS-R made more power at 100k miles w/only an intake.

exactly what i was thinking.. maybe it was a mustang dyno?

 

hmm...I'm still a bit skeptical...I want see if others get similar results

Was this tested on an R? Low dyno numbers... what type of dyno?

Thanks for the advertisement, really I was hoping someone without a vested interest in the product could post some unbiased gains and maybe this might really be worth it. What's up with the weird dyno numbers anyway? Can we see the actual chart?

I went and talked to my mechanic tonight and he put a AEBS intake mani on my ls/vtec... I should be breaking in the motor soon and dyno tuning within a month or two.. He told me it should make around 10 more than an ITR mani.

a month or two is too long.
waiting on the dyno sheet as well...whats the price on them?

 

i believe there around 330 the IM , im sure with a group buy they would be less .

 

for a stock motor, it gained quite a good amount of hp.

Yeah, im sure hes involved in some what, but whatever, its all business. If the product actually does make power like he says, more power to them. Just need a confirmation dyno. Someone else buy one and dyno.
