how to repin ODB II P72 ecu
this **** is driving me crazy...how the hell do you get the damn wire out of the ecu. i wanna move my IACV to spaces over for my gsr swap and can't seem to get the wire out. is there a locking mechanism or something i'm missing?
You will notice on each connector that goes to the ECU there is a difference in color in a place. Such as most of one connector will be blue or gray, but there will be a white insert as well.
You need to pry up the white section...it will click up less then a 1/16 of an inch.
Once this happens you can pull out the plug wires. Does still require quite a pull.
When putting the wires back in make sure to note the direction the connector. One side is up, and one is down.
Then push the white section down, and it should click back into place.
I used a utility knife to pry up the white insert.
Hope that helps. I had a pic of this, got to find it.

Yeah I've read that theres a way to get the wires out by jamming a needle in one of the holes. I actually got it once, but it took nearly 2 hours to get that one out. When I had to take another connector out i totally forgot how to do it and just got fustrated. I ended up yanking the ***** out, which worked aswell. So like everyone else says just pop that white connector up and yank it out.
