Default Quick question regarding Prelude injectors.

I recently puchased a set of 97+ Prelude injectors for my ITR. After searching in the archives it was stated that they are a DIRECT bolt in and I saw no mention of having to get different clips. In fact it was stated clearly several times that NOTHING was needed to install them. After getting my set of "97+" injectors the clips were not correct and I assumed he was mistaken. However, he is arguing that they are 97+ and that they are a direct plug in except you need different clips. Needing different clips is not what i call direct plug in.

So the question is do 97+ injectors need different clips to work in our cars or are all of the archived threads I've read misinformed? Thanks.

I got my 97+ lude injectors and installed them with no problems, they fit perfectly. The clips match with the harness.

You might got the old lude injectors, low impedance, peak & hold and 340cc

That's what I'm thinking...they should be direct bolt-in fpr your car.

where did you guys get the prelude injectors? Did you buy 'em used or get them from the dealership? I'm having a hard time finding them used.

I don't think there was a non-vtec 97+ prelude....just the "base" and "SH" version, no?

.....they should be direct plug in. No clips or mods required. Get your $ back.

In the future, check injectors for the appropriate markings before completing the purchase:

Yes, 97+ 290cc Prelude injectors drop right in with no mods or changes to the injector clips.
