damn that looks even cleaner than GE sleeves...

how much was it? why only 81mm? damn if you were going to sleeve it you should of when BIGGER 83mm and up.. LOL still nice none the less.

how was the service and turn around time?

I didnt feel the need to go over the stock bore at all. If there is any adverse affect on power output(minimal), i will make it up with a little more boost. Im still hoping for over 500 whp with a precision turbo and one of tinker's manifolds.

Is that pic of the block AFTER the sleeves were installed? Those sleeves look stock! I thought most sleeves fill in the area around the water jackets.

what are the advantages/disadventages of open deck vs closed deck? strength vs cooling?

i feel that the open deck is just as strong as closed... and it has better cooling properties because coolant can reach the very top of the cylinder. these sleeves will hold as much as i can throw at them. Darton sleeves are very nice as well (closed deck) but they were a little more money than i wanted to spend.

Earl get on here and expand if you wish

CHRIS
