I don't understand how you can even compare the ITR to the evo OR sti.
They are two entirely different cars. The evo/sti may be better at certain things, but it also costs much more (going by the current price for used ITRs and the price of the 'current' evo/sti).

just turbo the R..... just pistons, rods.. standalone. and a nice little kit.. only about 4000-5000 grand, and your itr will be SICK!!@#@!#@!

OT: your car seems to sit uneven front to back... my car does too (ek4 civic) with 5zigen r-rate springs... is this cause oif the driveway or just the way jap springs are made? sorry to hijack the thread i was just curios...
