I recently installed a ST bar on my '90 DX and was wondering what kind of catbacks are you running? I really want a HKS, if you have a ST Bar and HKS catback let me know. That is what It really want. Thanks in advance.
I have an 89 DX hatch with the greddy SP exhaust. The rear section of the piping (just before the muffler) would hit my ST rear sway bar under hard left hand turns. When i did my B series swap i had to get the greddy piping modified (shortened and rewelded) and when the shop did that, i guess they did something wrong because the rear piping sits even closer to the ST bar and will rub on it when i do slight left hand turns. I put a piece of rubber between the piping and ST bar to fix it for now but i guess i will just need to have the shop redo it.
I have a custom 2 1/4 inch bent by my local exhaust and if the shop is good they can make it so it won't hit the sway bar. I paid a total if $135 including the MagnaFlow muffler and a 24 inch resonator. If the system you are planning do not include a resonator it will sound like a ricer (raspy) with the resonator it will be slightly quieter but have a pleasing tone.

Just checking to see if anybody else has had any experiences with the ST sway bar? I have my car running now and need a new exhaust, any help appreciated. I am really bummed the HKS doesn't clear, that is what I really wanted. I want something quiet, Thermal Stealth anyone?

Weird, my buddy has that setup and his hits
his car has been hit before so it might be alittle tweaked,
You guys think those 2 1/4 exhausts are a tight fit.. Ha try fitting the 3in rearsection I'm running through there..lol It took alot of different configurations with the mandrel bends I bought to get it right so it would not rub.

Just found this thread while doing a search, and had to chime in...
Just installed a ST rear swaybar on my 90 CRX Si/ZC and I have a Greddy SP catback,......and yup, it rubs whenever I make left turns.

ST should make a rubber thing to stick between the exhaust and bar that wouldn't melt so it would get rid of the vibration.
