Default Turbo H22 CRX project pt.2 (more pics)

motor is in the car and bolted up for the last time and i'm now working with the turbo stuff. Gotta build piping and exhuast for it now and tap the return line in the oil pan.
The owner of the shop spent all day at the Urethane factory with engineers and sales people messing with diff compounds of urethane for the motor mounts. they came out really well and im looking at reproducing more of them since there doesn't seem to be a lot of options for the mounts if i get some interest.

anyways let me kwno what you guys think. We are going to have it up at the NDRA race this coming weekend (aug31) in houston.

damn, that looks good, but are those Place racing mounts? I somehow thought you made those mounts, but looking at them up close like that, they look like place racing mounts

thats badass n' all but I think h- deuce in a srx is lame for a street driven car because the oilpan sits so low, it would be a pain to drive.

The oilpan is not low on this car....
the motor is mounted higher than normal...

no I built the mounts from scratch...
I dont even know what the place racing mounts look like.. We tried to order some but after 2 months or waiting we said the hell with them
thanks, kinda cool to hear someone tell me my mounts look like some production pieces. I'm stoked with the way they came out

no the motor is sits through the top of the hood... We are going to problay mess with building a carbon hood for this thing
We charged this guy like 500 to build and install the motor because it was a prototype deal for us building the mounts. We would probaly sell them for around 400 for a complete weld in kit... but not for sure

Tell me once the hood is done. I have the same problem. My motor sits through the hood and it wont close. But i prefer to have it higher than not having any clearance on the bottom. ANd for the guy that thinks its stupid to have a h22 in a ef street car shut the **** up!
